First up on my list is this romantic, lace dot gown from would you believe it, Amazon! Ruffles and layers add so much dimension and personality to your outfit and this dress is a perfect candidate! If you’re dreaming of a boho engagement session, this is the dress for you!
Next up is this springy, floral skater dress from Saving Paige! With a modest neckline, you will never have to worry about tugging at the top during your photos, always a win! I normally do not recommend choosing photo shoot outfits with busy patterns, but this minimalist floral print is perfect! Multipurpose this dress for Sunday Mass, a summer date night, or even a bridal shower! Check out that price too! You cannot beat it!
This gorgeous dress falls just under the $50 mark and comes in 4 great colors! With a flirty tie back, this dress is perfect for a downtown engagement session or sunset beach shoot! This is also a perfect season transition dress as you move from summer into fall! I love finding a dress that I can multi-purpose for other occasions and you could wear this one for many!
The options with this maxi gown are close to endless! The price ranges from $31 – $64 depending on the color you select, but even the colors at the $31 price point are stunning! My favorites are the “rust” and “mulberry” shades! I think they would be stunning for a fall or winter engagement shoot! If you’re still searching for bridesmaid dresses, Baltic Born has so many affordable options to choose from!
The final dress on my list is the perfect option for something more on the simple side! The puffed sleeve give it a vintage flair while staying sweet and feminine. You can never have too many white dresses while you are engaged, embrace that bridal white! The dress can also be worn for a bridal shower or bachelorette party, so many options!
If you don’t mind purchasing a dress second-hand, I highly recommend shopping on Poshmark!
Poshmark is where I bought the dress that I wore for our engagement photos! I was having trouble finding something that matched my vision and budget at the time, so I decided to see what I could thrift! It can take a bit of digging and time, but if you are up for a hunt, they usually has something for everyone!
The photos below show the gown that I chose for our photos! Purchased from Poshmark for $18! – 🙂
Thank you so much for reading! Now go find that dream dress!
