Indianapolis Catholic Wedding at St. John the Evangelist | Jen & Charles

Jen and Charle’s wedding day started off at a close friend’s home where Charles and his groomsmen got ready. It was such a relaxed and chill morning! Everyone was beyond excited for Charles and Jen and the energy was so joyful!

Charles and Jen’s story started when they met online and clicked instantly! Charles is originally from France and currently is a college professor. Jen is a physical therapist and both just have hearts of GOLD! Jen is kind, sweet, thoughtful beyond belief, and always has a smile on her face. Charles is respectful, funny, also extremely thoughtful, and is a true gentleman! He just ADORES sweet Jen and she equally loves Charles right back. During their engagement session and throughout the wedding day, he kept referring to Jen as his “Mon Cheri” which means “my darling” or “my sweetheart” How precious is that??

Shortly after photographing the groomsmen, we popped on over to Jen’s home where she was putting the finishing touches on hair and makeup. Jen was just GLOWING!! She was surrounded by her sweet bridesmaids, sisters, mom, and *adorable* nieces! All of her nieces were flower girls and they could not WAIT for the big moment. At that age, nothing is better than being a flower girl with a flowy dress!

Jen and Charles had their beautiful Catholic Wedding mass at St. John the Evangelist in downtown, Indianapolis. The church was alive with joy and worship for the Lord with the most beautiful music and prayer! Toward the end of the mass, Father pointed out the statue of Our Lady of France. As mentioned, Charles is from France and most of his family still lives there. Due to the current travel restrictions, they sadly were not able to attend the wedding in person. Father spoke a little about the history of the statue and said how in a way the Lady of France statue was a reminder of how Charles’ family was also here with them on the day. It was beautiful! Charles’s family watched the wedding by live stream, all the way from France!

We had a few rain showers on their day but it did not make it any less beautiful! Prepped with the fun, clear umbrellas we stopped over at the Indianapolis Canal and Monument Circle for their bridal photos. Charles proposed to Jen at Monument Circle so this spot was extra special to them!

Their wedding reception was held at the Rathskeller and was full of the sweetest speeches, toasting Jen and Charles and their relationship and character. The reception was full of life, kids, families, aunts, uncles, it was beautiful! The night finished off with the BEST first dances from Jen and Charles and Jen’s father. My Yellow Rickshaw had the entire reception out on the dance floor and the energy was amazing!! I love nothing more than a packed danced floor.

Jen and Charles, thank you for having me along to witness your commitment to each other and your beautiful wedding day! Enjoy your Eurpeonon honeymoon, you so deserve it!

Thank you to the wonderful team who made their day come together so beautifully
