Sage Green and Black Tux Wedding at St. Malachy and the Willows Indianapolis | Marisa and Ryan

Marisa and Ryan’s Catholic nuptial wedding mass was held at St. Malachy in Brownsburg, Indiana followed by the most elegant reception at the Willows Event Center in Indianapolis! Marisa and Ryan’s color pallette and theme was elegant and classy! Their sage green and white details in the bridesmaid dresses and florals complimented the men’s black tuxes so wonderfully.

Marisa and Ryan met during engineering school at Purdue University and their love story began toward the end of their time together in college. Ryan is originally from Texas and Marisa from Indiana so it was special that both sides of the family were able to all come together for their day!

The wedding day began at Marisa’s childhood home. Marisa had the sweetest and most thoughtful gifts for her bridesmaids which included adorable robes, personalized letters, and a Chick-fil-a lunch! We arrived at the church, and met up with Ryan and the groomsmen who were all cool and collected! Their entire bridal party had the best energy and spirits the whole day which definitely helped with any pre-wedding nerves. Marisa and Ryan exchanged special letters which they both read in private before the mass began. Before Marisa had even pulled out the letter, she was in tears, it was the sweetest!

Their Catholic wedding Mass at St. Malachy’s was holy and heavenly, with close family members participating in each part of the mass. Standing up in front of all of their loved ones, Marisa and Ryan said their vows, and the sun started shining into the church so beautifully! After the wedding mass, the entire bridal party hopped on a party bus and headed to Newfields in Indianapolis. We had such a fun afternoon visiting all of the beautiful spots that Newfields has to offer for wedding photos! I had the best time taking bridal portraits of Marisa and Ryan because they are just SO in love with each other! An absolutely great couple both inside and out! I could have photographed them all day but had to make a quick dash back to the bus just in time to beat a little rain shower.

Their reception was held at the Willows Event Center in Indianapolis which was just as elegant and classy as Marisa and Ryan! You could tell that Marisa and Ryan planned every bit of the day with great detail, even down to the reception entrance! They wrote the kindest tribute to each bridesmaid and groomsman which was read off as they walked into the reception. it was so personal and heartfelt and just showed how much each one of their friends and family meant to them.

Marisa and Ryan may your days together be full of happiness and many adventures! The day to mark the start of your married life together was beyond beautiful, thank you for having me along. Enjoy your honeymoon, you deserve every minute of it!
