Sydney and Jacob’s wedding mass was held at beautiful St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Mishawaka, Indiana. Their statement wedding color was a lovely taupe accompanied by accents of ivory and greenery, perfect for a late summer wedding!
When I walked into St. Monica’s, the candles were just being lit, the choir was practicing Ave Maria, and the smell of incense lingered in the air. I could tell it was going to be such a special day at Jacob’s home parish.
Their priest, Father Jacob, celebrated the most reverent and holy wedding mass. Throughout the mass, Sydney and Jacob kept sneaking little looks and smiles at each other, it was so sweet! You could tell how much their faith and Our Lord meant to them by the reverence and devotion they showed at their wedding mass.
After the wedding mass, we made the best of the very warm summer afternoon for portraits. Their whole wedding party just rocked the pictures and had the best spirits! The groomsmen looked sharp in their black suits and the bridesmaids were lovely as could be in their elegant, taupe dresses. Also, aren’t Sydney’s sister and friends just the cutest bridesmaids ever? I had so much fun with them!
During bride and groom portraits, I kept thinking to myself that I could have photographed Sydney and Jacob all day! They are just the best people inside and out and are so easy to be around! I got spoiled to photograph them for their engagement session back in early spring too! The evening ended with touching speeches and joyful first dances surrounded by family and friends. Sydney and Jacob, it was an honor to document your beautiful wedding day. Thank you for having me and may God bless you both always!
