Spring Wedding at Saint Mary’s Catholic Church | The Abbey Fontana Reception | Shea and Pete

Loving family, loyal friends, the most beautiful wedding mass…a stunning reception under the golden spring sky. Shea and Pete’s wedding day was one to remember and a joy to be a part of!

When we arrived at their getting-ready rooms and Shea and Pete were as cool as could be! The environment was fun, positive, and stress-free as the preparations were underway. Everyone was so excited and their bridal parties in particular were incredibly helpful and supportive for Shea and Pete!

Their nuptial wedding mass was at the beautiful Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Woodstock Illinois. Pete’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride walk down the aisle to him was one of the sweetest I’ve seen! Smiles and tears of joy were on both of their faces as they walked up to the altar together.

After portraits, we arrived at The Abbey in Fontana, Wisconsin for a perfectly decorated, late spring wedding reception! Shea and Pete left no detail behind as they blended their wedding colors of navy and maroon against the elegant white backdrop of The Abbey. One of the most unique details was a display of the veils that both of their mothers wore on their wedding days! I loved how Shea and Pete created this display to pay homage to such special family history.

One of our favorite parts of the day were the special dances at the reception! Shea and her Dad surprised everyone with a choreographed dance to “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder which left every guest with a smile on their face! After the anniversary dance, Shea and her 6 brothers lead the way to get the whole crowd out on the dance floor! The dance floor was absolutely packed all evening and no one wanted it to end!
