Maddi and Collin’s spring Notre Dame wedding was the perfect start to the 2023 wedding season! Maddi and Collin were highschool-sweethearts and dated for nearly 7 years before becoming husband and wife! Their wedding day was highly anticipated and it did not disappoint.
The day began at St. Joe’s Loft as Maddi got ready with her family and bridesmaids. Maddi was a dream bride, so cool and collected, and had everything planned to perfection, even down to the smallest details! Maddi’s mom and sister helped her into her wedding gown as she put the finishing touches on her bridal look. I love the getting ready part of wedding days because there are excited nerves in the air for the couples and their families. It can get emotional but it makes for the most special moments. Walking into Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart never fails to leave you in awe as you stare up at the elaborate ceiling and gold details! The prelude music began just as Tom caught some sweet moments of Maddi and her dad before she walked down the aisle to Collin! Their nuptial wedding mass was personal and joyful and they ended the mass with a devotion to Mary in Notre Dame’s incredible Lady Chapel.
Portrait time is always a favorite part of the day but it was extra fun thanks to Maddi and Collin’s awesome bridal party! The bridesmaid’s satin champagne dresses, paired with the groomsmen’s sharp, black tuxes looked so classy against Notre Dame’s campus. We love taking wedding photos at Notre Dame because there are endless options for portraits and a new beautiful spot at every turn. Maddi and Collin were so easy to photograph and were just beaming up at each other the entire time, what more can a photographer ask for?
Their reception was held at St. Joe’s Farm and it was decorated to perfection with spring blooms and special touches. Collin swept Maddi off her feat as they were introduced into their reception as husband and wife and everyone was on their feet! Their family and friends gave heart-warming speeches that had all of the guests laughing and even shed a few tears, especially when Maddi’s parents toasted the newlyweds. Under the stunning chandelier of St. Joe’s, Maddi and Collin had their first dance to “Millionaire” by Chris Stapleton. The dance floor was instantly packed and everyone was ready to party! There could have not been a better wedding day with such a kind and genuine couple! Maddi and Collin, enjoy your European honeymoon, you deserve it! May God bless you always – Colette

Their reception at St. Joe’s Farm was stunning! I loved how the reception details included the farmhouse tables and the spring flowers in the bud vases. Perfect for a spring wedding!
