The Basilica of the Sacred Heart Notre Dame Wedding and Morris Country Club Reception | Kimberly and Brendan

Notre Dame holds a special place in the hearts of Kimmie and Brendan and getting married at the glorious Basilica of the Sacred Heart was a dream come true! Kimmie and Brendan attended Notre Dame as undergraduates but did not meet until a few years after graduation. Shortly after Kimmie returned to the area for a job, they hit it off and have been together ever since! Kimmie and Brendan have the kindest hearts and put so much time and thought to plan their Notre Dame wedding day. It always warms my heart to see a bride and groom plan a day with such detail and with family and friends in mind!

The morning of their wedding it *poured* rain and was so cloudy and gray! When hearts are set on sunshine, it can be disappointing to have a rainy day, but Kimmie kept her faith! I walked into her home the day of her wedding and she told me how she was praying for God to show her just one pocketful of sunshine. Her prayers were answered during their stunning Morris Park Country Club reception when the skies opened up to the most beautiful, golden light! The rain even held off earlier in the day when we walked around Notre Dame’s campus for wedding photos! It will never be lost on me how special it is to share in one of the most joyful days of a couples life, and what a joyful day it was!
