Basilica of The Sacred Heart Notre Dame and The Armory Reception Wedding | Leanna and Mike

Leanna and Mike’s wedding day was such a special one, surronded by family, friends, and so much love! The sun was shining brightly on their gorgeous May wedding day and the excitement was so palpable! You could tell how much family means to Leanna and Mike! Leanna’s two sisters were her maid and matron of honor and Mike’s twin was his best man! It’s so special to meet the family of our couples on wedding days because they are the people that formed and raised them as they are today!

Their beautiful nuptial wedding mass was presided over by their priest and friend who came all the way from Creighton University! He gave a wonderful homily where he spoke about the best qualities of each Leanna and Mike. Their prayer to The Blessed Virgin Mary was moving and heavenly in Notre Dame’s Lady Chapel! The incredible ceiling always catches my breath and it is a stunning moment to witness!

When I look back at their beautiful wedding day, the two words that keep coming to mind are uplifting and joyful!  Tom mentioned to me that when Leanna and Mike had their first dance he noticed that there was a moment where the entire room was still. He said during that moment, you could feel not only how much Leanna and Mike loved each other but also how much everyone in the room loved them! I could not agree more!
