Blush and Blue Summer Garden Wedding at Sacred Heart of Mary and Revival Wedding Barn Michigan | Becky and Sean

When Becky first inquired, she explained their vision for the wedding day was a blend of their upbringings. Specifically, English Rose meets Midwest American BBQ! Becky grew up in England and moved with her family to the East Coast while in school. She met Sean at work in Boston where they both went to college. Both talented creatives in the design and lighting fields, every detail was planned to perfection. Their wedding day was the perfect fusion of their vision and the entire day just felt like a floral-filled family reunion! Becky is a talented designer and seamstress and custom altered her stunning, Waters lace wedding gown. The delicate lace detail was complete with a romantic, rose-colored ribbon sash. Sean had a dashing, pale blue jacket paired with a colorful, printed shirt, I loved how the soft tones paired!

They were wed at Sacred Heart of Mary in Dowigac, Michigan, a beautiful country chapel tucked among the trees of Western Michigan. The outdoor of the church doors were adorned with florals and their Catholic wedding mass was beautiful and heartfelt. We drove not even 5 minutes away to the Revival Wedding Barn where the the entire venue was bursting with florals! LB Floristry knocked Becky and Sean’s floral vision out of the park and it was a treat to photograph so many stunning blooms.

The dance floor was packed from the second the couple’s first dance to “This Will Be, an Everlasting Love.” concluded and was rocking all night! We couldn’t complete the day without some dreamy, golden-hour portraits in the whimsical wildflower fields at Revival. Congratulations, Becky and Sean! You are such kind and lovely people and we are so happy for you.
